My pet theory has been that this UGA team will replace 00/01 Miami as the best of all time.

Playing that many new players, in the first game for so many coaches at their position, and players at theirs.

Watching UW right now. Beavers later. WSU last week. The pac sure is having the kind of season it needs to have during media rights negotiations.

ESPN gives the ducks no love. Joey Galloway stated the only reason byu lost was because of their previous game against Baylor. So happy fox had the game. Even Brock Huard a noted duck hater gave Bo and the ducks some love. Next week will be interesting.

Dan recently on your broadcast said it is critical to focus on what we need to improve. it was simple but true. Today Bo showed he is listening. He has been described as someone who forces a pass, makes wrong decisions. Dan has him learning. No better than when he threw purposely the in completion to the wrong side of the field it was a statement to himself and Dan,... make the right choice

This looked more like the Ducks teams we’ve grown accustomed to seeing. Glad Nix stayed calm, ignored all the critics and played with confidence. Looking forward to a good season!

Great game. I’m so happy they proved my doubts wrong. We rode our strength, our offensive line and it paid. We moved the ball against Georgia too, but couldn’t finish, and our defense let it get insurmountable early. They have shown big improvement across the board.

Spot on about Nix... After all that Nix has been through he's a class act.

He seems to be more comfortable in each game. Cougs are going to be tough

but if they can manage a win this good be a really good season for the Ducks.

Hey John: I was proud of the Ducks. My predictions are always vs. the point spread. Georgia looked good , but everyone knew they would throttle South Carolina. Ditto for Oklahoma over Nebraska. I do have two picks for tonight. Mario Cristobal is going to lose at Texas A and M, who is favored by 4. I have taken USC -12 at home vs. Fresno State earlier in the week. On the season, I am 3-2 at Spirit Mtn. casino in Sheridan. The Thursday night game on amazon prime (Chiefs over Chargers) put me now playing on house money! I will post my pro picks for tomorrow later. One early pick is 49ers over Seattle. A divisional game, and you will see the real Seahawks. Gino Smith versus Denver on Monday night I did lose on; very poor clock management by Denver coach. Smith had never looked as good, and he was a one-hit wonder. Seattle will not make the play-offs and will finish about 50-50. My final four are : AFC: Chiefs vs. Buffalo, NFC Tampa Bay vs. Phily . It is still early I know and I also like Justin Hebert in the AFC, and Green Bay in the NFC. After the Seattle win Gino Smith said "everybody wrote me off and I did not answer" He sounded like he was an arrogant brother who had just won a super bowl. USC will beat the Beavs in front of 25,000 next Saturday in Reser. Please miss me with all this b.s. about amazon prime or some other streaming deal saving the Pac-12. Many could not find the KC game last Thursday, and if they did, they got ripped off for 15 dollars for a 30- day amazon prime trial period. Unless ESPN bails out the conference of poor football and only two schools who have made the final four; U of O and UW, very soon, the Pac-12 will never catch the SEC or Big 10.

Is it possible to be more self-conscious and completely lacking in self awareness than you sir? Your lengthy and rambling exercise in self-congratulations was noteworthy, but only for those characteristics

ESPN fails again by not being able to broadcast games on time. I hope they fail at getting a deal with the Pac-12.

Well let's be honest John...To say Ty threw a pick without putting it in context is being disingenuous at best. Thompson threw a perfect pass and the receiver took his eyes off it and it went threw his hands off his helmet straight to a defender. That is not the QB's fault...the box score doesn't care, but fans might. Nix had an excellent game...I also believe Thompson should get more PT...but there is a time & place for everything...Lanning needs to get a feel for that. That was not the time. BYU had momentum, Oregon needed to steal it back. If Nix gets hurt...Thompson will need all the experience he can get. WTH was up with Forsyth? Multiple false snap infractions...never seen that before from a supposed all American.

Was a strange substitution. Momentum was lost. Would have liked to see that later, but I know what Lanning was doing there.

The coaches called both plays for Thompson. Who calls the first play for a new QB a lateral. It should have been a run to let him get his footing and s feel for the game. And remember it is only the 3rd game of the season. Did Oregon play well, yes. Did they play bad in Atlanta yes .

Ducks, Huskies, Beavers, Cougars look fine. This is the best group in the Pacific Northwest I can remember. Too bad they have to play each other.
