Well done, John. This piece needs to be blasted out to the LPGA world and beyond! Caveat emptor.

We live in an era where a convicted felon can be elected President, so I guess it's not all that shocking Lavish Larry could land himself a sweet gig despite his track record.

If they hire him, they deserve him.

Bingo, John; I agree with your conclusion and hope the LPGA does some serious due diligence. My son was a tv/video producer and director who did lot of work for the WTA during Scott's tenure (he is also a Duck). When I asked him at the time about Scott going to the Pac12 he said he was baffled; any one who worked with him on the tour didn't understand how he had that job, and he couldn't imagine him being selected for any job with the conference, and the idea of Commissioner was beyond his understanding. Just sayin', Charlie

That’s a foolish decision by the LPGA to hire that guy as a Commissioner. He is a terrible leader and helped kill a once great college conference

Great takedown of the deplorable Larry Scott, John. He deserved every word. His disastrous Pac-12 tenure was marked by ego, arrogance and incompetence. He created a failed network and destroyed a great 109-year old conference. If the LPGA wants to go up in smoke, hire Scott. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail.

Bravo John!!!! We could use your straightforward no nonsense journalist skills in our nation's capitol right now. However, only if you are highly skilled at wiping excrement off you shoes daily. Keep up the excellent work.

The current occupant of the white house only allows coverage by journalists who consistently kiss his ample gluteus maximii. He threatens, shuns, insults or sues those who don't.

Just exactly what does this have to do with the subject under discussion?

It relates directly back to the gist of the comment that I was replying to. If you can't figure that out, it's probably because you just don't want to connect that dot.

I am not adverse to criticism of El Presidente, however, I believe your remarks haul into the discussion of a sports figure of no real national significance, a political view point that has no place therein.

Read Ray Webb's post that I was responding to and then tell me why you didn't see fit to castigate him for injecting a political perspective into the discussion.

Can’t believe anyone would recommend Scott for any position of power with a straight face. The guy was a tone deaf clown when in charge of the PAC, and is largely at fault for the conferences eventual downfall. He has no business leading another large organization.

Annika has done zero to earn respect since she putted out in her last major. If shevthonks he is so great, she can hire him to runher foundation. They deserve each other.

Reading this brought up feelings i haven't had since he left. I'm thinking hiring him would be a death sentence.

I wonder why anyone would hire him? Then I remember Steve Patterson was hired multiple times after the Blazers.
