Congratulations, John! I can't wait to listen!

I'm not usually a commenter, but I thought I'd share a quick note.

As someone who grew up a sports fan in Portland, Oregon, listening and reading you after my family moved away to Michigan in 2019 before I started high school has helped me stay connected to my favorite teams and my beloved former home state. In fact, those affinities have only grown.

I listened to your old BFT radio show/podcast nearly daily from Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Syracuse, to even Madrid -- when I studied abroad there in fall 2025. I was a bit crestfallen when the show ended.

Now, I'm a rising college senior and aspiring sports writer, I aim to tell engaging, accurate and otherwise untold stories. To ask questions I don't know the answer to. To be endlessly curious and share that passion and inquisitiveness with readers and listeners. You've served as an exemplar for all that, and I'm sure your continued writing and new show will continue to do the same.

Congratulations on the new venture. I admire your willingness to take chances and bet on yourself. It’s an area I could improve on.

I’ll have to catch the program when I’m not at work. But adidas? That says you’re definitely off the Phil Knight train. Interesting. 🤨

John is getting back at Phil for the time he paid a student $100 to hold a sign saying "Fire Canzano."

Or he just likes good-looking, comfortable footwear.

So he wears sketchers… Got it! That’s what I wear!

Hey, all us older guys do! 😂😂🤪

Hey, anything is better than Nikes, for sure.

That’s a lot of brands, but it sure isn’t adidas. And never forget that founder Adolf Dassler was a literal, actual nazi!

The amount of quality content you produce is pretty amazing. I’d wish you luck but you’ve proven that you’re capable enough to make this venture fly on your own. Oh Hell. Good luck anyway!

Thanks Keith. I have a great team.

John,

Congrats on the BFT Unfiltered show. I love the nod to Walston, next to the old Pac-12 pennant. Oh yes, don't forget the Mattel football game, (I had the Coleco Quarterback version). Long time PDX camera guy now listening and watching from Boise. People out here seem to be happy to be in the new Pac-12! Keep it moving!

Congrats on the new adventure. BTW, I checked out Penn State’s new threads…they look just like they always have. Only difference is the 3 stripe logo.

Well done. It seems like a well placed bet, you do great work! 😊

thank you Joe. appreciate that you are here for it.

The first show was really good, and the interview with Strong was timely! Kraft was pretty honest, and a good AD advocate for his school (pressure--tough community there). Congrats!

Really good guests. More to come.

Good stuff John! Congrats on the new show!

Need to speak with someone regarding my payment! Problem going through

Jack Bird's avatar

Good luck- somehow I paid for a year I didn’t even know I had.

There is no one to speak to.

Rock on, JC! Busy work day for me so can't watch yet - but rest assured I will.

John - it is Pat Kraft not Craft :)

Otherwise, looking forward to the new Pac-12!

Fixed. Thank you.

Good to emphasize the BFT graphic as there are other YouTube "Unfiltered" programs.

Alright, I'll bite. Where is the studio? Your living room or basement?

New studio location.
